Cookie Policy
Last updated: 14.09.2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Rentatherapyroom.co.uk (“we”, “our”, or “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website.
We only use cookies that are essential for the website to work. Our payment provider sets its own cookies when you pay for a listing. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, so we do not ask you to consent to them. If we introduce any non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent before they are set, and update this policy.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They help websites function properly, improve performance, and provide information to website owners.
Cookies may be:
- Session cookies (deleted when you close your browser)
- Persistent cookies (stored on your device for a set period)
2. How We Use Cookies
We use cookies for the following purposes:
A. Essential Cookies (Strictly Necessary)
These cookies are required for the website to function properly. They enable core features such as:
- Account login and authentication
- Listing submissions and edits
- Form submissions
- Security and fraud prevention
These cookies cannot be disabled as the site will not function correctly without them.
B. Analytics and advertising cookies
We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies on this website, and we do not share data with advertising networks. If we add analytics in future, it will only run after you have given consent.
C. Functional Cookies
These cookies remember your preferences, such as:
- Saved search filters
- Login details (if selected)
- Location preferences
They improve convenience but are not strictly necessary.
D. Third-Party Cookies
Some pages may include content or services from third parties, such as:
- Embedded maps
- Social media links
- Payment processors (if applicable)
These providers may set their own cookies. We do not control these cookies and recommend reviewing their respective privacy policies.
3. Managing Cookies
You can manage or disable cookies in several ways:
A. Browser Settings
Most browsers allow you to:
- View cookies
- Delete cookies
- Block cookies
- Set alerts when cookies are being used
Please note that disabling essential cookies may affect website functionality.
B. Cookie Banner / Consent Tool
Because we do not set any non-essential cookies, no cookie consent banner appears on this website. If that changes, a banner will appear and you can accept or decline before any non-essential cookie is set. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.
4. How Long Cookies Are Stored
The duration depends on the type of cookie:
- Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies remain until they expire or are manually deleted.
Analytics cookies typically expire after a defined period set by the provider.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect legal, technical, or operational changes. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
6. Contact Us
