About The Founder
Peter Klein
I’m Peter Klein, the founder of Rent A Therapy Room. I created this platform in order to make it easier for therapists, office workers and beauticians to find rooms without the usual friction.
I come to this work not as a tech founder or marketer, but as a practising psychotherapist who has spent many years working in mental health services and my full time private practice.
Professional Background
I have worked for many years as a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist. This includes my clinical work at the Priory Hospital, where I treated adults presenting with problems such as anxiety disorders, depression, OCD, stress, perfectionism and low self-esteem. I have also managed assistant psychologists during my time of working within multidisciplinary teams.
After working in clinical care I went on to establish a full-time private practice in Richmond, London, where I continue to work. My private practice has given me insight into the real challenges therapists face — especially when it comes to finding professional therapy rooms that meet a healthcare professional’s needs.
Why Rent a Therapy Room Exists
Find a Therapy Room was created in response to a problem I personally experienced:
Finding suitable therapy rooms is often difficult and time consuming — particularly for therapists starting out or for those that want to expand their practice.
Many existing room listing sites are either outdated, poorly moderated or designed without any understanding of what a therapist’s or an employee’s needs are. My aim is to offer a clear and cutting edge directory that prioritises quality and usefulness.

I have worked closely with therapists, office workers, counsellors, psychologists and clinics in order to help them improve visibility, access / let suitable clients or rooms in order to help them with their professional needs.
