Fifteen rooms across a converted house at 354 Mansfield Road, on the Carrington side of Nottingham. Six of them are set up for bodywork, with an electric couch and a hand basin in the room, and the rest are arranged for talking therapy, with two or three chairs and no couch. Two of the smallest sit up in the loft, which is where the quietest sessions tend to happen. One room has three tub chairs so couples work is comfortable, and another doubles as a waiting area during the day and takes group work on Sundays and some Saturdays, seating ten. There is a shared waiting area outside the rooms, a garden, and the centre runs its own reception, so clients are greeted rather than left on the step. Rooms go by the hour and the rate depends on the size of the room, so it is worth asking what is free at the times you want.
